The Association for Innovation and Quality in Sustainable Business, BASIQ, kindly invites you to the international conference "New Trends in Sustainable Business and Consumption". Please read the "Call for Papers"
The conference is an opportunity for new knowledge contributions, exchange of ideas and experiences, initiation of new collaborations and lasting partnerships.
The conference will take place from 3rd to 5th of June and will be hosted by the University of Foggia - Department of Economics, Italy.
Given the persistence of health risks and uncertainties regarding international travel conditions, BASIQ 2021 will be - once again - held online in virtual conference format.
The proceedings will be submitted for indexation to Clarivate Analytics under the aegis of Amfiteatru Economic Journal.

University of Foggia – Department of Economics
Since its foundation in 1999, the University of Foggia is characterized by didactics in step with the territorial requirements, by applied local research projects, internationalization, orientation, cultural events, and promotion of University activities. The eight Departments with bachelor’s degrees, the master’s degree, an Interdepartmental Research center, doctoral degrees, and the specialist colleges have contributed to turning the University of Foggia into a cultural center in which young people can acquire professional training that meets the needs expressed by society and the world of work. During last year, the University of Foggia has expanded and consolidated all the initiatives and activities aimed at improving and qualifying the teaching methodology, research, international relations, services to students and relationship with communities and territories.
The Department of Economics has been one of the first university organizations of the University of Foggia. It was also the first to have achieved teaching autonomy on 1 November 1994, along with the Faculty of Agriculture. Since 2012, it has been transformed from Faculty into Department of Economics. Subsequently, since April 2020, it has become one of the two organizational structures of the Economic Area of the University of Foggia. Its facilities are located in Via R. Caggese 1, where 45 academic personnel units (18 full professors, 12 associates and 15 assistant professors) work. In the academic year 2020-2021, the educational offer is constituted of six courses of study: Economics and Business Administration, (for bachelor’s degree); Bank, Finance and Market, Business Administration, and Marketing management, for post graduate master’s degrees.

The Faculty of Agrifood and Environmental Economics has achieved a steadfast national and international prestige during its over 50 years of existence. It aims to achieve knowledge transfer in the fields of agriculture, food and environment from the point of view of economics as well as the broader view of sustainable development. Thus, The Faculty of Agrifood and Environmental Economics pursues the development of the fields of study mentioned previously through: conferences, workshops, research clubs, advisory meetings with our partners, professional training courses, events for students, good practice exchanges, scientific publications and other research and education endeavors.
